Subject : Possible misconduct by Juan Martinez
Sent 19th July, 2014
Rumours of an affair between prosecutor Juan Martinez and Jen Wood are circulating in blogs and social media,
Jen Wood and Sharee Ruiz formed a partnership to report on trials in July 2013.
They have dissolved that partnership, and anonymous comments and screenshots of text messages apparently recovered from Ruiz’ mobile phone suggest that this was due to an affair between Juan Martinez and Jen Wood.
I contacted Sharee Ruiz via her facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/trialqueen ) set up recenlty after she parted from Jen Wood and she confirmed this to me. The Facebook private message conversation was as follows:

Is all this true: http://inconvenienttruthstv.blogspot.co.uk/p/is-prosecutor-rock-star-teflon-juan.html … ?
That is you split from Jen Wood because she had an affair with Juan.
“That is why Sharee ended the partnership by the way and she made Jen refund donations because people were paying for her to meet up with Juan.” is what someone said anonymously.
If true, I think you acted rather honourably there, well done. I just wanted to confirm it.

I did split with Jen for this reason. I also did offer refunds for people after I found out. Thank you for your support, I appreciate it. I tried to work it out before we split, but my reputation, image and everything else was on the line. It was unfortunate but necessary and I don’t regret it.
If true, I think this suggests at least an “appearance of impropriety” by prosecutor Juan Martinez.
I suggest that this should be investigated in the interests of justice, especially considering earlier reports of misconduct by Mr Martinez, for example http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2300850/Jodi-Arias-trial-Star-prosecutor-Juan-Martinez-accused-misconduct-signing-autographs.html
