How my understanding evolved
It’s all here: http://www.injusticeanywhereforum.com/viewtopic.php?p=78116#p78116 ( First three pages )
Feb 26, I thought it looked like she was guilty (oops!). Then Feb 28 I got suspicious – people calling Jodi a witch.
Mar 6, I declared Jodi guilty, but 30 minutes later I’m not so sure.
Mar 7 Sarah (mod at IIP) declares Jodi to be a very good liar. “I think she is a very proficient and accomplished liar”
Mar 7 I cannot make prosecution case work.
Mar 8 I think she’s innocent, but not sure.
Mar 9 My views are changing. Later Mar 9 I pretty much have it figured out.
Mar 10 I’m sure there was abuse.
Mar 11 I say she must be mostly speaking the truth on the stand.
Mar 11 We discuss Travis’ criminal record (actually his brothers’s crime).
Mar 11 I start making an index of the trial.
Mar 12 I think about alternative motives that might work.
Mar 13 I discover the gun shot last weirdness.
Mar 13 I point out principle of presumption of innocence to an idiot. I ask for any inconsistency in Jodi’s testimony – nobody knows of any.
Mar 13 I am practically certain Jodi is innocent.
Mar 20 I am “very confident that Jodi Arias is innocent”.
It’s not so easy.. you have to be reasonably smart to understand the case by watching the live coverage, and invest a lot of time.
Except if you realise that Women do not commit heinous murder for no good reason. That’s a short cut.
