The truth : the cops did it! ( Bryan Neumeister Testimony 21 Nov 2014 ) The laptop was powered up on June 10, BEFORE a copy was taken, with no write-blocker, destroying the evidence.

The truth : Travis’ was accessing porn back in September 2007! And of course there is no proof Jodi staged the burglary, since Juan argued an alternative in which Jodi stole Travis’ gun!

In the Flores Report, Melendez the lead CFU team leader reports to Flores saying that the last time that there had been any activity on the laptop was on June 4th, 2008 @1619 where he said that someone sent e-mails.
June 10th 2008 is when the laptop was turned off by Flores without having a write block added to it. In the video with Jodi and Flores, Flores makes the comment that they take great care in protecting digital evidence such as camera cards and computer hard drives.
If this is true then why isn’t a write-block added to the laptop at the scene when Flores first brings it out of Sleep Mode, before Melendez accesses it to find when it had been used last and especially before being turned off? Or did they? Did Flores and MPDCFU correctly follow procedures and created a copy of the original HDD of the laptop knowing that it could never be accessed again as doing so could possibly corrupt the data on the original HDD? Once the copy of the original HDD had been made it could have been deleted of all of the porn and submitted into evidence as the actual HDD to further make Jodi out to be a liar when Juan and Flores self assuredly state that they hadn’t found any porn on the laptop that they had seen. This would be a very serious charge against Juan because he would have known the state of the copy made and submitted by Flores as evidence had been altered from its original state of being copied so that he could he base his attacks on porn not being present on the HDD he had in his possession. Porn that might still be present an intact on the original HDD of Travis laptop.
